Why Ambiguous Responsibilities Produce Avoidable Conflict

Many arguments that look like attitude problems began as definition problems.

Sometimes the problem really is laziness or refusal. Often the failure began earlier: two people accepted the same words while imagining different responsibilities.

Important communication should survive the handoff. State the result, ask the other person to explain what they understood, and name the next action, owner, and time.

Clarity is not cold. It is often the difference between trust and a fight that never needed to happen.
